Liquid Christmas Cake is a fortified muscat liqueur. Muscat grapes are harvested at high sugar levels and fermented for a short period with the addition of grape spirit to raise the alcohol level to +18% (fortified). Using the solero process the liqueur is stored for many years in oak barrels and bottled as required.
This liqueur is soft and delicious and as the name suggests has the flavour of grandma's Christmas cake. It goes well with desserts or as an after dinner digestive.
